Oracle Instance Properties / Oracle Users Tab
The Oracle Users tab on the Oracle Instance Properties displays a list of Oracle users for this Oracle instance. On this page, you can perform the following actions on Oracle user records:

| Search for an Oracle user | For more information about using lists, filters, and other UI options, see the topics under Using Lists in IT Asset Management. |
| Add an Oracle user | Search the desired user and select the user record. Click Add Oracle user to add the user to this Oracle instance. |
| Create an Oracle user | Click Create an Oracle user , enter the user Name and Quantity of licenses and click Add . |
| Update an Oracle user | Select any user record and click Open . Update the details and click Update . |
| Remove an Oracle user | Select any user record and click Remove . |
The following Oracle user properties are available for display:
| Property | Description |

| Account status | The status of the Oracle user account. For the list of all possible values, refer to the Oracle Database Reference. When an account is expired, the license quantity will be set to 0. |
| Oracle user name | The name of the Oracle user. Editable in the Oracle users section of the Oracle Instance Properties page. |
| Quantity | The number of licenses consumed by this user. Editable in the Oracle users section of the Oracle Instance Properties page. |

IT Asset Management automatically exempts the standard Oracle named users from consuming licenses on Oracle instances. The Appendix E: Oracle Standard Users Exempted From Consuming Licenses in the System Reference lists these standard users.
